Description
The 17-529 is a D-subminiature spring latch hardware kit from the WPI (now Eaton/Cooper Interconnect) 17 Series. It is designed to provide a quick-release locking mechanism for standard D-sub connectors, fitting shell sizes from 9 to 37 positions. The assembly is constructed from high-strength steel with a clear chromate-over-zinc finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. This spring latch allows for secure mating and easy manual disconnection without the need for tools, making it ideal for high-density I/O panels and test equipment where frequent cable changes are required.
